As many of you know, my family and I recently enjoyed a long weekend in Sandusky, Ohio. Our main reason for going was to experience all the haunts at Cedars Point’s HalloWeekends, but I wanted to make sure we checked out some other spooky stuff while we were in the area.
So there we were laying in bed, scouring our phones for some inspiration when BAM we find something right across the street from our hotel. Close and convenient, so we thought “eh, what the hell?’
Ghostly Manor Thrill Center is an indoor venue with boat loads fun of stuff to do! They have indoor mini golf, a haunted house, 4D Motion Theater, arcade, jungle gym, bounce houses, roller skating AND an awesome snack bar!
Since we didn’t have a ton of time to spend there, we were only able to participate in two of the attractions. The first thing we did was the Wizard’s Journey mini golf…and at only $7.00 a person it was a steal! Wizard’s Journey is a nine hole course that takes you on a 3D blacklight journey to slay a dragon! The visual and auditory effects are enough to keep you on your toes, but not enough to terrify the youngest of Dragon slayors.
After we failed to slay our dragon (don’t ask..I never claimed to be good at mini golf) we went on to conquer the Laser Maze Challenge. This is an awesome attraction for people of all ages because if has a variety of skill levels you can select from. Woo, and did I mention it’s only $3.00?! The object of the challenge is to race against the clock, maneuvering your way through an insane amount of laser beams to complete tasks.
Ha, yea there was NO way I was letting anyone actually get a pic of me attempting the Lazer Challenge!
What are you favorite things to do in Sandusky, Ohio? Ever try a laser maze?
